Fans vote for their favorite game in Capcom history, and it’s not Resident Evil or Monster Hunter

Capcom reveals the results of a global macro survey, and the company’s favorite game is not Resident Evil or Monster Hunter.

Capcom contains some of the most popular video game sagas in history: Mega Man, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry or resident Evil They’ve had tons of supplies over the decades.

Many of these games often appear on lists of the best video games in history. But what is the best game Capcom has ever made?

They asked this question a few months ago in a global macro survey of 254,148 users.

Capcom asked questions such as which saga they would like to see a new part of, as well as Which of the following Capcom games is your favorite?

Devil May Cry 5 is the favorite game in Capcom history for most users

The answer may surprise you: Devil May Cry 5, the latest in the hack’n’slash action saga with Dante, released in 2019, was chosen by the majority of users as their favorite Capcom game: 15,157 people voted for it. Your favorite.

They are followed by Dino Crisis with 10,978 votes and Resident Evil 4 (2023 remake with 9,017 votes).

Below are Devil May Cry 3, Okami, Monster Hunter World Iceborne, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 2 (2019), Monster Hunter World and Breath of Fire III.

But, as expected, there are many differences across regions. Devil May Cry 5 isn’t even in the top 10 in Japan, whose favorites are Okamifollowed by Phoenix Wright: Best Lawyer And Trials and tribulations (the first and third of the “Lawyer” series).

It also found that the majority of people who voted for Devil May Cry are between the ages of 10 and 29: in the 30+ generation, Dino Crisis is the favorite, with DMC5 barely making an appearance…
