According to WHO, cases malaria increase by EthiopiaWith 328,881 new Cases have been reported since the beginning of this year.

It was reported that from January 1 to January 28 84 deaths countrywide; the increase compared to the previous month was 16 percent.

Resources are being mobilized to support malaria prevention, treatment and awareness campaigns across the country.

Ethiopia recorded its highest number of malaria cases in seven years in November.

Malaria is endemic in Ethiopia, with the highest prevalence in areas below 2,000 meters, covering three-quarters of the country, with a population estimated at 52 million people.
