Movistar Estudiantes returned to the WiZink Center for the second week in a row, this time to face a newly promoted team. Odilo FC Cartagena CB. The students arrived in full force.

Pedro Rivero repeated the starting five from the previous day, while Grainger, Schmidt, Garino, Andric and Kravic took to the court for Estudiantes that day. From the very beginning of the match, the opposing team showed that they came to the competition to fight and try to stay. In the first quarter, Kravic as an inside pivot and Schmidt as an outside one took points away from Movistar Estudiantes as the rest of the players lacked success. At the beginning of the second quarter, the substitutes (Diaz, Barro and Alonso) managed to increase the difference on the scoreboard to 30-18 with 7:25 remaining. Despite this, the Cartagenas pressed on and did not allow the students to continue to increase the difference. In the last quarter, the same dynamics continued. Movistar Estudiantes kept the match under control. Plus, a few good last minutes from Lucas Giovannetti helped keep the distance. The opponents tied the result with three triples at the end of the match and left the standings. 91-68 final.
