Precisely, with the main goal of raising awareness of Alzheimer’s disease among young people, Momentum Spain has joined CEAFA (Spanish Confederation of Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias) to launch “Lost In The World”: a new interactive map in Fortnite in which players will be able to experience some of the symptoms diseases from personal experience.

“Lost in the World” It consists of a new Fortnite map that will allow players to experience the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease first-hand. Disorientation, memory lapses, dissociation in time and space are some of the symptoms that a player may experience.

“This simulator, included in the Fortnite game, is designed to offer players an immersive experience that simulates the problems and challenges faced by people living with Alzheimer’s disease. Integrating this experience into a virtual environment followed by young people helps raise awareness and empathy for people affected by this disease.” they add from the Confederacy.

Six Spanish gamers teamed up to promote the Alzheimer’s disease simulator in Fortnite: @Blachitoo, @Mrkeroro10, @Leviathan, @Irenefields, @Sophia and @Gladoop, reaching a total audience of 6.8 million subscribers. Gamers were invited to play the new map for the first time without even knowing what they were up against, and all their reactions and impressions were collected in the launch video.
