On January 17, Samsung Electronics opened seven galactic spaces around the world for visitors to try out the new series. Galaxy S24. Upon entering the space through a portal-like arch, visitors immediately found themselves in front of a star-shaped digital wall. This installation represented the limitless possibilities of mobile innovation in the age of artificial intelligence. Visitors had the opportunity to interact directly with Galaxy AI, which brought to life the core features of the Galaxy S24 series and showed how artificial intelligence can improve their daily lives. With the help of Samsung employees, guests were able to try out artificial intelligence features such as Live Translate and Chat Assist.
““When my mom calls the doctor, she is put on hold because she only speaks Spanish.”– explains Yesenia Candia, a Latina resident of Manhattan. “It may take some getting used to using the AI features, but I can definitely see my mom using Live Translate to make doctor’s appointments.“.
Once through the Galaxy AI Experience, visitors were taken to an area where they could interact with the latest camera features of the Galaxy S24 series. What first caught their attention was the photo booth, where visitors could practice taking selfies. Single Take feature allows you to Galaxy S24 Ultra He captured a wide variety of images and videos in a few optimal frames. Visitors could save photos and videos to their personal devices by simply scanning a QR code, or display their photos on a large screen nearby.

Next to the photo booth there was an interactive photography area. Samsung has partnered with creative studio Sticky Monster Lab to create a noteworthy art installation that allows visitors to take and edit photos as usual, except this time using AI Edits to remove objects and reflections.
“For the content creator, AI Edit greatly speeds up the editing process. I can’t believe the Galaxy S24 series can remove reflections and objects so easily.Says Emily Schon, New York-based marketing specialist and content creator. “I definitely see myself using the Remove Object feature a lot, especially when I’m taking photos in public and want to remove people from the background or things that are out of place. Using other apps is a hassle, so integrating it into your phone is crazy.”
In this area, visitors had the opportunity to explore the connectivity features of the Galaxy S24 series. Pairing the Galaxy S24 series with the Galaxy Book4 series allowed users to easily access recently visited web pages from their smartphones on the larger PC screen. The seamless transition also allowed users to answer text messages and phone calls on the Galaxy Book4 series devices. In this area, visitors could also try Quick Share, Galaxy’s file-sharing feature, and Google Meet, Google’s video conferencing service.
In the New Way to Play area, visitors were able to enjoy an enhanced gaming experience thanks to the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and Vision Booster, which automatically adjusts color and brightness. Mobile gaming competitions were also held at the Galaxy Experience Space in New York City, where Galaxy fans could enter to win a Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Galaxy Experience Space in New York City will host numerous events throughout January and February, including creator workshops and a recording of the Tribe Gaming LIVE podcast. On the day of Samsung Newsroom’s visit, an exciting K-Pop meeting took place. Here, visitors interacted with their favorite K-Pop idols while trying out the latest Galaxy innovations.
The Galaxy S24 series has wowed visitors, from novices to tech experts, with its easy-to-use AI capabilities. Miguel Martin, a Galaxy fan from the Bronx and computer science student, shared his excitement: “I enjoyed exploring and learning more about Galaxy AI. I used the touch screen to learn about the Galaxy AI features – the Circle to Search and Live Translation features are crazy.”. And he added: “Surprisingly, Chat Assist allows you to have a casual conversation. I’m from another country and my family and friends speak Spanish. Many of them enjoy trying to communicate in English, so I think this will be a great way for them to learn spoken English.“.
The Search Circle feature has become one of the standout features for Galaxy fans since the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. This innovative feature allows users to draw a circle with their fingers on any image, giving them immediate access to Google’s search engine without having to switch to another application. Once the user completes the search, a simple swipe will return them to the original screen.
