Hogwarts Legacy will release exclusive content for PS5 in other versions and confirms additional news

Hogwarts Legacy is approaching its first anniversary. The Harry Potter game has been a best-seller since it first launched in February 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, with versions added for PS4, Xbox One and Switch throughout the year.

However, Warner Bros. Games has partnered with Sony to create exclusive content for the PlayStation versions of Hogwarts Legacy (PS4 and PS5). There is a mission that can only be completed in these versions.

And this is a rather interesting mission: it does not affect the main story, but it is quite long: Haunted Shop in Hogsmeade. Luckily, owners of the game on Xbox, PC or Nintendo Switch will be able to play it in just a few months.

More new content will be added in the future for Hogwarts Legacy.

In a post on Twitter, Avalanche Software confirmed that PlayStation-exclusive Hogwarts Legacy content will be available on other platforms this summer.

They also confirm “updates and additional features for the game.” Later they will talk about what will happen in Hogwarts Legacy this year.

Originally Hogwarts Legacy. There will be no DLC content in it.. That remains the plan for now, but it’s clear that the game’s massive success, with 22 million copies sold in 2023, may have forced plans to change.

For now, we can expect the PlayStation exclusive mission (along with its rewards) to arrive on PC, Xbox, and Switch in the summer (after a year of limited time exclusivity paid for by Sony).

This is a mission called Your own businessa dungeon that, once completed, allows you to keep the shop, Hogsmeade location (which acts as inventory) in addition to receiving this set of cosmetics.

The most interesting thing is the confirmation of new functions for Hogwarts Legacy it will be out this year. Will the long-awaited Quidditch mode finally appear?
