If you receive a message from an unknown number:
- Open a WhatsApp chat with an unknown number.
- Tap the name or number at the top of the screen to open the contact’s information.
- Scroll down and select the “Block Contact” option.
- WhatsApp will ask you to confirm if you really want to block this person.
If you receive a call from an unknown number:
- Go to the Calls tab in WhatsApp.
- Find a call from the number you want to block.
- Tap the call and select “Block Contact” from the menu that appears.
To block in WhatsApp settings:

- Click “Account” and then “Privacy.”
