Riot Games just announced that Project Lhis fighting game now has an official name: 2HKO, a name whose pronunciation has caused much confusion among the community. In a post on Twitter, Tom Cannon, executive producer 2HKO, it was revealed that there is actually no correct way to pronounce the game’s name. At the same time, he pronounces each of the characters that make up his name in English. That is the way the one that is pronounced 2HKO it’s “too-ex-kay-oh”.

“Naming things is difficult. At first I didn’t like the names of past projects (Evo, Radiant, Rising Thunder), but over time I came to appreciate them. The team worked hard to achieve 2HKO and I liked it right away! I’m glad many of you do too.”

Although Cannon is happy with the official name Project L, in fact, many users felt uncomfortable with the name. In fact, they’ve raised their voices on social media to make it clear that they have no idea how they’re going to tell Riot Games’ fighting game that it’s coming out in 2023.
