Inter won the Scudetto in front of Milan fans!

Inter put the cherry on top for the 20th Scudetto in their history with a victory over eternal rivals Milan and an away derby (1-2). There are still five days left until the end of Serie A, but the team’s superiority Simone Inzaghi

was undeniable.

Less defeats with 18 goals with Yann Sommer under the sticks Milan is 17 points ahead of second place. Just one defeat… A devastating statistic that reflects the merits of Inter, who are regaining their hegemony in Calcio after their previous Scudetto in 2021, thanks to Antonio Conte.

Simone Inzaghi’s first Scudetto

He set him free Simone Inzaghi who today achieved his first Serie A as a manager and his sixth title with Inter after two Cups and two Super Cups, as well as finishing runners-up in the Champions League last season.

Acerbi opens the account

The Madonnina Derby began with a monotonous rhythm, but Inter used one of the resources from their wide repertoire to open the scoring: strategy. It was a set piece in the corner that bounced Federico DiMarco, Benjamin Pavard combed his hair in his first suit and Francesco Acerbi, alone, he headed the ball into the net and hit the post (18 minutes).

Inter had the advantage as Milan were fruitless in possession and their weaknesses showed in their transitions. Lautaro Martinez led with a score of 0:2. Dimarco crossed, but the Argentine placed his foot incorrectly and his shot went wide of the goal.

Leao, from the false nine

Milan coach Stefano Pioli surprised, leaving on the bench Olivier Giroud and Raphael Leao set up a false nine. The Portuguese was little involved in the game, although after half an hour he had a chance to counterattack, ending with a shot that was saved. In another midwife, Mike Maignan saved his team by fending off whiplash. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, to whom the nervous Fikayo Tomori presented his terrible punt.

As soon as the match resumed, Inter left their eternal rivals finally touched with an outstanding whip from the front of the penalty area. Marcus Thuram, who surpassed Maignan (49′).

Tomori expresses emotions

Inter was one step away from the Scudetto. Theo HernandezWith a shot that Sommer once again executed with ease, he tried to rebel against the strength of the Nerazzurri defense.

Pioli turned to Giroux. Despite this, Milan lacked a punch for several minutes until they turned to their pride and were able to deliver the final blow. Christian Pulisic fires high on the corner before emotions return to the derby with a goal by Tomori taking advantage of the uncontested rebound of Matteo Gabbia’s header, which Sommer deflected into the post.

Tangans and three red ones to boot

Ten minutes before the end of added time, Milan sought to score a goal to avoid insult and help the mathematical alliance of their eternal rival. There was no shortage of intrigue at the end and even a couple of tangans that ended with three straight red cards: Theo Hernandez and Denzel Dumfries take part now Davide Calabria for attacking Davide Frattesi in the corner.

A regrettable climax that did not tarnish Inter’s party on the San Siro grass.
