To add insult to injury, Brolin said: Diversity that he felt responsible for the loss of a great cast. He regretted bringing Megan Fox and Michael Fassbender into the project, knowing they deserved better.

Besides all the mistakes, he also pointed the finger at Warner Bros. He said the studio version of the film only made things worse. Jonah Hex ranked 48th on Rotten Tomatoes’ list of all DC films, with a score of 12%, and became one of the worst-rated superhero films of all time.

If I ever had the courage to spend $5 million, which I don’t, I would do this movie because this is the version of the movie that would probably be a success. And it shouldn’t have cost anything more than $8-10 million.“
Jonah Hex It cost $47 million to produce and grossed just over $11 million at the worldwide box office. Brolin believed that if everything had been under control, the $5 million budget would have been enough to make a much better film.
