Kerala is at high risk of infectious diseases due to multiple factors. Climate change, especially intermittent rainfall, coupled with inadequate waste management and rapid urbanization, potentially increases the likelihood of mosquito breeding, thereby increasing the incidence of dengue fever and chikungunya.
