Health authorities Australia (Queensland Health) said they were notified within the last week 19 cases
from dengue purchased locally in Mer Island is in Torres Strait.The total number of cases identified in this outbreak is 39.
Five of these cases were identified as dengue serotype 3 (DENV3), and the serotypes of the remaining cases were not determined.
