Some new information about Prince Harry And Meghan Markle was made public against the backdrop of a UK court ruling today.

On Wednesday (February 28), a High Court judge Peter Lane supported the decision of the UK government and the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royal Family and Public Figures (RAVEC) to lower the level of security. The Duke of Sussex has argued that he and his family should have automatic police protection while in the UK when they travel from their home in California, following a decision to remove his rights in February 2020 when he and Meghan Markle stepped back from official royal duties.

The 82-year-old Kentucky senator and Senate Republican leader said Wednesday (Feb. 28) that he will retire in November.

The Senate Minority Leader revealed his plans in his State of the Union address. He also clarified that he plans to retain his seat in the House. Its validity period ends in January 2027.
