The Spanish Armed Forces Championship will take place this Saturday, July 6, with 602 athletes registered.
This Saturday, July 6th, Championship of Spain of Autonomous Federations, in La Nucia, where just a week ago the magnificent Absolute took place, one of the highest level championships held in our country, with eight national record holders among the registered. Where

In what format?
There will be 38 individual competitions (19 for men and 19 for women) and two mixed relays: 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 3000 m, 5000 m, 100/110 m hurdles, 400 m hurdles, 3000 m steeplechase, high jump, pole vault, long vault, triple vault, weight vault, discus, hammer vault, javelin, 5000 m walk, 4×100 m and 4×400 m.
Men and women will score points for their respective federation depending on their position in each competition: 17 points for first, 16 for second, and so on; and the classification will be common for both categories.
Madrid wants to regain the title
In La Nucia, Madrid defend their first Spanish title. Since the joint classification format was established in 2011, only two regional teams, Castilla y León and Madrid, have managed to break Catalonia’s dominance.

In Pamplona 2023, Catalonia were four points away from winning the title and will be looking to win their 12th Spanish Autonomous Federation title this season. The two regional teams finished second and third respectively on the podium and will be trying to stop Madrid from defending their title in La Nucia. In total, the team is made up of 16 autonomous federations (all autonomous communities except Asturias). A total of 602 athletes have registered for the championship, excluding the relay, of which 304 are men and 298 are women.
