Retired adult film actress Lana Rhoades has revealed how she became a multi-millionaire after leaving the adult entertainment industry.
Lana Rhoades was previously one of the most popular actresses on Pornhub, but has now left the adult industry to pursue a career as an influencer.
She’s not the only former porn star to make a successful transition from the adult entertainment industry to the influencer industry.
Former PornHub number one Mia Khalifa made a similar career move, leaving porn behind and pursuing a career as an influencer.
Now Rhodes has opened up about her transition away from pornography and also shared her experiences in the industry.
The main takeaway for Rhodes (real name Amara Maple) was the realization that if she had a large enough platform, being an influencer could be extremely lucrative.
Talking about Press In a podcast with YouTuber Harry Jowsey, she revealed that while working in the porn industry, she met a YouTuber who claimed he was paid $15,000 for posing in a Jeep and wearing clothes all the time.

Rhodes said, “And I thought, ‘Wow, I got paid $1,200 for this disgusting sex scene, why the hell am I doing this?'”
The former actress worked in the adult industry for about eight months before leaving to try to pursue a career as an influencer.
And things have been going very well for Rhodes since she left the industry.
Speaking to Best friends on the podcast she said: “I wasn’t paid a damn thing in the industry, I probably had $100,000 in my bank account when I quit doing porn, now I’m a multi-millionaire.”
Even though she rose to the top of Pornhub and became the site’s number one model, unfortunately, due to the lack of rights to the videos she appears in, it hasn’t brought her much financial benefit.

This is similar to the situation with Mia Khalifa, who revealed the shockingly small amount she was paid despite becoming one of the most popular models on the site.
More importantly, however, Rhodes explained that her lack of rights to her videos meant she couldn’t remove them.
She said: “So Pornhub, there are a lot of videos I don’t own the rights to or I would probably have deleted them all by now.”
The influencer revealed that she regrets her career in porn, saying: “Yes, I honestly tell people that if I could go back, I would give anything to have my dignity and respect back and for people not to see me that way.” “
