LEB Oro playoffs begin

The LEB Oro playoffs start this Friday, in which it will be decided who will accompany champions Leima Coruña in promotion to the Endesa League. with a second and final ticket to be determined. Teams that can win the pass: Movistar Estudiantes, Real Betis Baloncesto, San Pablo Burgos, UEMC Real Valladolid, ICG Força Lleida, HLA Alicante, Grupo Ureta Tizona and Guuk Gipuzkoa.

No clear candidate between the eight qualifying teams, so we’ll see a playoff as even as possible, with the possibility of any one of them being the lucky winner. Very interesting matches that will bring together teams that already know well what the ACB league is (Estu, San Pablo, GBC), and others that want to be the surprise of the season. Movistar Estudiantes, the two clubs from Burgos (San Pablo and Tizona) and Lleida have home-field advantage in the best-of-five playoffs in a 2-2-1 format.

San Pablo Burgos, one of the greatest transatlantic teams in their category, will face a dilapidated UEMC Valladolid in the final stretch of the season. The Burgosians are the favorites to reach the semi-finals of the Final Four, as they have experience and a quality squad.

In the case of Movistar Estudiantes, second in the main stage after winning the Princess Cup, they host Real Betis. Schoolchildren, another great scarecrow Second who failed in the first attempt at promotion, are looking to move from the first division to the third with a long line-up of many carats, and this is finally completed, leaving behind all the injury problems that have plagued him almost from the very beginning of the course. For their part, the Andalusians have nothing to lose: immersed in a serious institutional crisis, they have worked hard after a very poor start to the season to dream of reaching the Final Four.

Tizona Burgos, the opening team of the season, will face Guuc Gipuzkoa. In this case, the favorite is the Burgos team. who had a very good season, can play regularly and is very fun in attack (fast, hard, without fear). And it’s a big surprise for the field after being promoted to LEB Oro this season.

And finally, Force Lleida will face HLA Alicante. The Catalans, led by the impregnable Barris Nord, are the favorites. after the next high level phase: 26 wins and only 8 losses.
