May 9 (UPI) — Special Forces: Lioness will return for a second season.
Paramount+ announced in a press release Thursday that it has renewed the series for a second season.

Lioness spy thriller created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) and starring: Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman and Leisla De Oliveira. Freeman will become a series regular in the new season.
The show is inspired by the real-life US military program and follows Jo (Saldaña), a CIA agent who tries to balance her personal and professional life while becoming the agency’s tip of the spear in the war on terrorism.
The first season premiered in July 2023 and at the time became Paramount+’s most-watched series premiere worldwide on launch day, attracting nearly six million viewers in its first week across the service worldwide, as well as a linear preview on Paramount Network.
