Marvel is reportedly still moving forward with the SCARLET WITCH solo film; Here’s what we know – GeekTyrant

If you’re wondering what Marvel’s plans are for a Scarlet Witch movie, they’re reportedly still moving forward. There is also some information about when we might actually see the film release.

Elizabeth OlsenThe MCU’s Wanda Maximoff had a very interesting storyline and things took a darker turn for her throughout the film. WandaVision And Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessin which she completely transformed into a villainous version of the Scarlet Witch.

Her story was quite tragic, her loss and sadness led her to the Darkhold, which corrupted the Avenger, and she went on a horrific, murderous rampage across the multiverse, trying to find options for her two boys.

Wanda eventually realized what she was doing was wrong and seemingly destroyed herself in the collapse of Wundagore after using her powers to destroy all copies of the Darkhold throughout the Multiverse.

But there’s a brief red flash visible on the collapsing structure, suggesting she may have escaped, which could lead to a solo movie. This became known several months ago. WandaVision And Agatha all together producer and writer, Jacques Schaefferplans to write a script and direct a film.

Now, scoop @MyTimeToShineH says the project is still moving forward and says it will be released either between Avengers: Kahn Dynasty

And Avengers: Secret Wars or following the latter. If this is true, then it looks like Marvel Studios has plans to keep Olsen in the role for a little while longer.

Olsen previously spoke about her hopes for the character’s future, saying, “Now we can do whatever we want with her! I feel like we’ve done so much. Now we can really have some fun; I feel like there’s a lot more humor with her. She is often the emotion of the story, and I’m curious to see what we can explore. And hopefully (we can) give her some kind of redemption.”

I enjoyed Scarlet Witch’s storyline as a whole and I really hope her story isn’t over yet. Marvel hasn’t officially announced a solo film for the character yet, but I’d love to see her story continue in a new chapter.
