Medvedev seems more than happy with the conditions in Melbourne and with every step he seems to be playing better: his victims up to this point have been the Frenchman Terence Atmane (N°144), Finn Emil Ruusuvuori (No. 53), Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime (No. 30), Portuguese Nuno Borges (#69) and his last victory over Hurkacz.
