Netflix will forever change the design of its interface: this is what it will look like in the near future

Set to celebrate its tenth anniversary as one of the biggest entertainment destinations in recent times, Netflix launched the integration of a redesign that will be a step forward for the company and will significantly improve the user experience. It is known in itself that the platform has one of the best navigation systems existing at the moment and now it is proposed to go one step further and further improve your new interface.

Throughout its history, Netflix has always been one step ahead of its competitors by offering content of all kinds and increasing user engagement to keep users on the platform for as long as possible. And there is no doubt that he achieved this. The company has over 260 million active users worldwide and its numbers haven’t stopped growing, although it went through some ups and downs in the first quarter of last year, losing 4.5 million subscribers.

However, the video-on-demand app for smart TVs, mobile phones and tablets has overcome all these hurdles and righted the rudder once again to sail on calmer seas. Therefore, the time has come to travel in new ways that will add new look for your home page, whose main goal is to maintain a privileged position in the streaming sector.

New Netflix interface

It’s been a few months since Netflix unveiled something new with its design, but it seems there’s now a turnaround and its intentions are more ambitious than it seems. The production company began working on making menu items more dynamic and personalized.

In particular, the company is focusing on its Smart TV app, which will bring with it a new update replacing static tiles containing programs and movies recommended set of boxes that expand in preview mode selecting them with the help of our team so that we can learn about their technical characteristics in a much more practical way, without having to constantly access this content as we currently do.

Other important changes

In addition, the streaming service plans to get rid of the side menu located on the left side of the screen, and place the profile icon at the top along with other options to make navigation more satisfying. But the most significant thing is the appearance of a new tab called “My Netflix”, which launched on mobile last year and offers content recommendations and quick access to titles you’ve liked, ones you’ve added to your list, or movies and TV shows you’ve watched. It was also described that the “Categories” option will be integrated into the “Search” tab.

Pat FlemmingSenior Director of Product at Netflix shared the following statements with international media outlet The Verge:

“We really wanted to make it easier for members to determine if the name was right for them. This is the first attempt and we think it’s a new and great television experience.

This new look is currently in the testing phase and only a few users around the world are benefiting from its changes. If everything works as planned, these changes will soon be rolled out to all smart TVs.
