Pablo López would leave Marlins by signing Cueto

Given his youth (26 years old) and the next two seasons of control that the Marlins or any other organization that could acquire him through a trade would have over him, they are factors that make him one of the most coveted elements of the exchange market.

Without being the team’s ace, the native of Cabinas has been one of Miami’s most consistent starting pitchers, behind Dominican Sandy Alcántara, current National League Cy Young Award winner.

After five years of experience in the majors, López marches with a 28-31 career record and a 3.94 ERA in 510 innings of work and 94 appearances in the center of the diamond.
