Philosophy as a tool in our daily life

Everyday life is surrounded by philosophical concepts, although we don’t realize it: worries, fears, doubts, philosophy can help cope with various everyday situations, including why many people like to make a list of resolutions at the beginning of the year. Book Philosophy of everyday life Tanya Sanchez strives to approach the discipline from a lighter, more accessible perspective.

Why do we celebrate the arrival of the new year? Are we doomed to feel nostalgia for our childhood? Why are we tied to a physical workplace? Should we stop taking photographs?

All of these questions are part of a set of problems related to our daily lives that can indeed be answered through philosophy.

This is the bet that Tanya Sanchez, a professor of philosophy and literature from the Chinese city of Shanghai, made with her book. Philosophy of everyday life(Philosophy of Everyday Life), published by Airol Publishing House.
