Japanese magazine CoroCoro reveals new aspects of Pokémon ZA Legends in its latest issue. How many legendary Pokemon will there be in the game? Will the story involve X/Y issues?
On February 27, 2024, the next game in the Nintendo franchise was announced at Pokémon Presents. These won’t be remakes of Black and White or a return to the Johto region, but new part of the Pokémon Legends series.
If you remember, in 2021 we enjoyed Pokémon Legends Arceus, a great open-world game set in Hisui (Sinnoh of the past) that introduced new mechanics from Game Freak’s saga.
The new part, scheduled to launch in 2025, we will return to the Kalos region
(sixth generation), especially impressive Luminalia City.Pokemon ZA Legends is an open world adventure that focuses on the capital city of Kalos (inspired by Paris) in the midst of urban development. Further plot details are unknown, although the game has been “confirmed” in Pokémon Legends Arceus.
We’ll probably have to wait until the next Pokémon Presents to learn more, at least from Nintendo itself. The good news is that the Japanese magazine CoroCoro revealed unpublished details.
We already knew that they would return in Pokémon ZA Legends Mega Evolutions (mechanics introduced by Pokémon X/Y)but now we are discovering other interesting aspects.
The latest issue of Japanese magazine CoroCoro confirmed some new details about Pokémon ZA Legends, which has shown no signs of life since its announcement in February.
IN this tweet from Moot you can see scan of two preview pages dedicated to the game (in full Japanese, of course). Fortunately, SoulSilverArt
translated the texts. In accordance with publicationPokémon ZA Legends is exclusively located in Luminalia City, but be careful because This is a different version than the one we saw in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. 3DS.
There were several changes from the original Luminalia. In addition, it is stated that All sorts of wild Pokemon will be roaming around the city. (does not evolve in biomes such as Scarlet and Purple).
Game plot Let’s study the mythology of Mega Evolutions, a mechanic that will return in this part. Sixth generation (X/Y) games are mentioned as inspiration, as well as remakes of Alpha Sapphire and Omega Rubi.
CoroCoro magazine also notes that the Pokémon ZA Legends logo looks like Zygarde’s design, a legendary Pokémon of the sixth generation. This can make a big difference in the storytelling.
To finish off the hype, the phrase ”The adventure takes place in the city of Luminalia, but can we prepare for another encounter with the legendary Pokémon of the Kalos region?
”.It seems quite obvious that Zygarde, Xerneas and Yveltal will return to Pokémon ZA Legendsand we cannot rule out the return of other Pokémon missing in the last parts of the saga.
