Xiaomi debuts. Along with the appearance of the new Xiaomi 14, the Chinese manufacturer decided bring some of their latest wearable devices to Spain which they have already introduced in their home country and are now finally available to buy here.

We’re talking about the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, Xiaomi Watch S3 and Xiaomi Watch 2, three sports-focused connected devices that stand out for their connectivity and reasonable price.

Here we explain their characteristics and at what price we can buy them.

Xiaomi Watch S3 and Watch 2: one from HyperOS, the other from WearOS

Xiaomi Watch S3 is watch with 1.43-inch round AMOLED display and quite a classic design. We have replaceable emails, a rotating bezel and a theoretical autonomy of about 15 days.

Inside we find HyperOS, Xiaomi’s own system that is also available for the watch. Some of the new features that the Watch S3 releases include the ability to perform actions with one hand, the ability to reject calls or take photos with a gesture.

It has 150 different sports modes, dual-band GNSS, heart rate monitoring, and sleep monitoring. Its official price is 149.99 euros.

An alternative is the Xiaomi Watch 2, the little brother of the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, its first watch with WearOS, Google’s operating system. It has a central aluminum frame and weighs 37 grams.

In this case, we are considering a watch with a Snapdragon W5+Gen1 processor, battery life of about 65 hours, and a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel. They have 160 sport modes, sync with apps like Suunto and Strava, and remote camera function, allowing you to view your mobile phone’s camera feed directly on your wrist. Its official price is 199.99 euros.

The most professional Xiaomi smartphone

The third device to arrive in Spain is an update of a classic, significantly different from the standard Smart Band 8. The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro is much more than a bracelet, it’s almost a stylized watchwith a 1.74-inch rectangular AMOLED screen and a 60Hz refresh rate, making it more comparable to a smartwatch.

We have a very light device weighing 22.5 grams and a thickness of 9.99 millimeters, with a metal frame and protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Smart Band 8 Pro features automatic brightness, 200 different watch faces, 150 sports modes, and 4-channel heart rate monitoring. As for the battery, it promises 14 theoretical days, has GNSS and is 5 ATM (50 meters) waterproof. Its official price is 69.99 euros.
