Purple handcuffs for John Poulos: a symbol that stood out on his arrival – Bogotá

The Prosecutor’s Office formalized the capture of the foreigner John Poulos, the alleged person responsible for the femicide of Valentina Trespalacios, the Bogotá DJ who was found in a suitcase abandoned in the garbage, in the town of Fontibón.

The American was handed over by the Panamanian immigration authorities to the Colombian officials.

John Poulos is deported to Colombia

Although it had been mentioned that the official plane that brought Poulos back to Colombia had taken off at around 8:00 p.m., the truth is that the plane took off at 9:15 p.m. and arrived in the capital of the country at 11: 30 at night.

Now, one of the most interesting details was that at the time of the capture in Bogotá, the authorities used purple handcuffs, which represent the fight against violence against women.

Meanwhile, according to the investigations, Poulos could have murdered the young woman on the morning of Saturday the 21st and left her body in the afternoon of that same day. The last time Valentina was seen alive was at about 4 in the morning in a presentation at the Nexxus bar, in the El Restrepo neighborhood.

The testimony of Valentina’s friend pointed out that the couple would have been arguing with the foreigner throughout the night for issues related to “jealousy”, Well, apparently, Poulos would have claimed her on several occasions because she did not present him as her partner or give him the place that he deserved.
