Real Betis player William Carvalho is under investigation for rape

Real Betis player William Carvalho is under investigation on suspicion of rape, in a case in which he pleads guilty in a Seville court on Tuesday, as confirmed by judicial sources. The victim claims she was drugged and raped in a hotel during events that took place in Seville last August.

The event was revealed OK Diary, which reports that the victim, a resident of Ibiza, was invited by the footballer to come to Seville. Already in the capital of Seville, they went to dinner and then to a nightclub, the woman said that the next day she woke up in a hotel, not knowing what happened, and with signs of violence on her body.

She later testified to UFAM agents when she filed the complaint, recalling specific moments such as the time the football player forcefully grabbed her neck to force her to give a blowjob. Likewise, a picture of Carvalho hung above her in bed.

Hotel cameras recorded how the football player and the woman went up to the room where the events took place, from which the player left two hours later. Carvalho was summoned on Tuesday as a defendant to Seville’s Court of Instruction No. 9, where Judge Maria Angeles Cortes is giving her testimony.
