Sainz, Doohan, Marty and Boya at the roadshow

The Formula 1® Barcelona Fan Fest is now ready to celebrate one of its main events – the roadshow. It will happen on Wednesday, June 19, starting at 18:00 on the most mythical and recognizable streets of Barcelona. For the first time in history, Formula 1 cars will drive through Barcelona – a spectacle that promises to be unforgettable.

Main characters

The exhibition will also feature the main characters of this event. Scuderia Ferrari member and national representative Carlos Sainz will be a big star behind the wheel of a Ferrari. He will be accompanied by Alpine test driver Jack Doohan, a young up-and-coming Formula 1® driver and son of legendary five-time 500cc world champion Mick Doohan. Catalans from the Campos Racing team Pepe Marti (Formula 2™) and Marie Boia (Formula 3™) will also be present.

Tour

On Wednesday, starting at 18:00, the cars will leave the Ronda Universitat, where the team pits will be located. They will then head north and continue along Paseo de Gràcia until they reach Casa Batllo (before reaching Arago Street) to turn south again to their starting point.

Fan forum

Following the roadshow, there will be a fan forum (from 19:00 to 20:30) at the Fan Village stage in Plaza Catalunya. All Road Show participants, as well as Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, will pass through it. They will all share their feelings ahead of the celebration of the FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2024. The event will also be attended by some members of the F1 Academy such as Nerea Marti, Emelie de Geus, Hamda Al Qubaisi and Maya. Weug, as well as former Formula 1 drivers Pedro de la Rosa (who also competes in the Road Show) and Marc Genet.

Program:

19:00: Start of the fan forum.

19:15 – 20:20: Speeches and interviews with participants.

20:25 – 21:00: DJ performance on Monday.

It’s important to note that fans who want to enjoy the two shows live from Barcelona will have to choose whether they do so from the fan village at Plaza Catalunya or from anywhere along the roadshow route (Paseo de Gràcia).

On Wednesday 19 June, the Fan Village (Plaça Catalunya), free of charge with an invitation uploaded to the Circuit ticket portal, will be open until 17:00. From now on, access to the territory of Plaza Catalunya will be prohibited. This means that visitors who gain access at this point will be able to follow the roadshow from a screen installed in the fan village, and that after the exhibition ends, they will be able to witness the fan forum, as well as scheduled interviews and performances. live.

On the other hand, fans who prefer to follow the roadshow (free and open access) from anywhere along the route will no longer be able to access the fan village to watch the fan forum live from Plaza Catalunya, starting at 19: 00, but They will be able to do this through the screens installed on Paseo de Gràcia.
