Samsung is not going to change the color rendition of the Galaxy S24 Ultra screen

🎁 Sales! Windows 10 key forever for only 14 euros and Office 2016 from 23! (More information )

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has been on sale for several days now and, as the company said, the phone is extremely popular among customers, breaking records compared to previous years.

However, some users complained that The screen of the Galaxy S24 Ultra (🛒 €1,459) displays dimmer and muted colors than its predecessor.

What’s really amazing is that there’s virtually no difference in color performance between the Intense and Natural screen modes, as we were able to verify in our in-depth analysis of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

As a result, the screen doesn’t display as vibrant (and unrealistic) colors as previous models. For some users who are used to screens with rich colors, this was a disappointment.

Although we recently reported that a Samsung support agent admitted that this issue will be resolved, Teknófilo contacted Samsung Spain’s communications department to find out the official position.because in other cases the support channels reported incorrectly.

In response to our question about whether a change in color rendering is expected in a future software update, Samsung Spain sent us the following official statement:

We have adjusted the colors and brightness of Galaxy S24 series products to provide a more accurate and comfortable viewing experience during use. Some changes have been made to the display technology to provide a more natural image, so users may notice a difference in color depth compared to older devices.

This display behavior is an intentional color adjustment and is not a product defect, so it is safe to use.

To offer our customers the best experience, we value your feedback and continually improve our software (UX) as the market and consumer interests evolve.

So those who were hoping Samsung would fix this behavior in a software update will be left wishing it would happen. At least for now, it doesn’t look like Samsung is going to make any changes.

This doesn’t take anything away from the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s screen, which offers commendable contrast, brightness, viewing angles and anti-glare. In fact, DXOMark recently rated it as the best smartphone screen.
