Danny Ramirez, who played high-profile roles in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier And Top Shot: Maverick, will also join as Manny, “a loyal soldier whose sunny gaze hides the pain of old wounds and the fear that he will fail his friends when they need him most.” Alejandro Edda originally played this character in The Last of Us Part 2.

Last of us Filming for the second season has already begun in Canada, and the latest casting details mean HBO only has a few key characters left to confirm. Pascal and Bella Ramsey will return as Joel and Ellie, along with Gabriel Luna as Joel’s brother Tommy, Isabela Merced will play Ellie’s love interest Dina, Young Masino will play Ellie’s friend Jessie, and Catherine O’Hara will play an undisclosed role.
