Round 16 of the tournament’s playoffs will be played between the second-placed teams in the group stage of the South American Tournament and the third-placed teams in the Libertadores group stage. The Sudamericana teams will take places from 9 to 16 and will have home advantage in the series, while the Libertadores teams will take places from 17 to 24.

To determine the crosses of each bracket, the order assigned based on the performance of the teams at the end of the group stage of the South American and Libertadores will be used. The winning teams of each Sudamericana group stage group will occupy Bollero 1, while the eight winning teams from the Round of 16 of the Sudamericana playoffs will occupy Bollero 2.

Bolillero 1 will host the first representatives of each group of the South American team, while Bolillero 2 will host the playoff winners. The teams with the best record (lowest number in the group stage standings) will determine their home games.
