Sustainable fashion was present at Lollapalooza by Levi’s and Sevali

As was the topic of the weekend throughout Lolla and to continue with the concept of sustainability, the Levi’s stand was built with recycled materials. Many of these materials came from the previous edition of the festival, and it was designed in this way as a gesture to express the company’s concern for the environment.
In addition, the brand presented its new collection, designed in collaboration with the renowned Chilean designer Sebastian Bathrobebetter known as sevali.

Sevali, who a few months ago dressed Kylie Jenner, one of the most influential members of the Kardashian clan, presented her new 100% sustainable collection, focused on UpCycling, made with existing garments and which is part of the 150 years of the iconic model of jeans 501.
The Sevali and Levi’s collection shows were held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Taking into account that not so long ago it was considered an aberration for a personality to wear a garment on more than one occasion and today we even see celebrities wearing other celebrities’ dresses, as we already have the case of Kim Kardashian wearing Marilyn Monroe’s dress and our Creole version with Kika Silva wearing the Bolocco Cecilia dress for the “Zero Night” of the festival, sustainability is an unequivocal symptom of a change.
In this regard, we wanted to ask Sevali, since sustainability is the topic that fashion events and trends are exploiting. We wanted to know her vision on how she believes the issue of sustainability impacts the industry in the short term, to which she responded as follows:
The issue of sustainability is quite immediate. I feel that at this point it is a bit inconceivable to think of a brand that develops practices that are not sustainable.
Under this framework, occupying second-hand clothes is one of the ways that can be used to develop a brand plan and a level of sustainable consumption.
I believe that the issue of sustainability affects us all day by day and it is something urgent that has to change and that it is constantly changing here and now.
In addition, the stand featured the Levi’s customization service, “Tailor Shop”, where the brand arranged, decorated and transformed the clothes of the attendees who took away 100% original designs.
But that was not all, Sebastián Albornoz has dressed some of the biggest stars in fashion and music, including Lisa from Black Pink, Kylie Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Rosalía herself, who also performed at Lollapalooza that weekend. week.
Among those who visited the stand was the popular Chilean influencer and actress Mayte Rodríguez, dressed in a pink top and jeans, in the company of her sister María Jesús Sothers, to enjoy artists such as Lil Nas X or Billie Eilish.
