Nintendo has released a new version of Switch firmware.
Version 19.0.0, according to the Japanese company, includes “general system stability improvements to improve the user experience.”
The official change note doesn’t mention any further news, although renowned data miner OatmealDome said that “virtually every component of the system has been updated” in this new version.
However, this is “normal for major updates as the entire operating system is rebuilt using the new version of the SDK.”
These changes, in any case, are only important for video game developers on Nintendo’s hybrid platform and do not translate into anything tangible for the end user, as OatmealDome itself points out.
