The design of the FC Barcelona 24/25 season shirt, dedicated to the celebration of the club’s 125th anniversary, is inspired by the roots, trajectory and heritage of the club. Using the blue and scarlet colours represented on the shield as the central element, a distinctive, unique and emblematic design was created that reflects the identity of the team over the years.
In homage to the organisation’s origins, this proposal was reflected in the Club’s first kit in 1899; a two-tone shirt with a design that creates an elegant, classic contrast.
The shirt will feature the Spotify logo on the front, the Nike logo, and Ambilight TV branding on the sleeve of the men’s first team kit and Bimbo on the women’s kit. In addition, the UNHCR/UNHCR logo will continue to appear below the bib number.
The first stage of the launch will see new Barca jerseys in stores – versions stadium And Matches– They will feature the same Spotify logo that appeared on the kits last season. The FC Barcelona shirts with the updated version of the logo that Barça players will wear on the pitch in the 24/25 season will be available for purchase starting this fall.
Continuing with the manifesto dedicated to the club’s 125th anniversary, the club is promoting the launch of this first shirt with an audiovisual campaign that aims to reinforce the two pillars that define Barça: its style of play and its Catalan identity.
To give the story coherence, the video is inspired by the concept of “We want the ball” and includes the participation of historical players (Ronaldinho, Iniesta, Puyol, Gasol and Stoichkov) and current players (Chubarsi, Lewandowski, Araujo, Pedri, Fermin, Gavi, Balde, Lamine Yamal and Rafinha, Alexia, Aitana, Mapi Leon, Engen and Rolfo).
The figure is opened by Ronaldinho, who is the first to pass the ball, symbolizing his own style of play and Barça’s football DNA. This ball reaches the current players as they recall iconic football moments from the club’s recent history and see scenes that exude the Catalan character. Lewandowski, Araujo and Kubarsi share a common position. Pa Amb Tomaket
; Pedri and Fermin draw several pictures linked to the testimonies of cartoonist Pilarín Bayes, who talks about the Barça style of play, while Stoichkov and Pau Gasol pass on their legacy and share their experiences with Gavi and Baldé via video call. For their part, the women’s players close ranks to build a castle with the Colla Castellers del Poble Sec. During the story, you can see many details of the 24/25 season uniform, and it all ends with the words “Look at Barça!”, authored by none other than Carles Puyol. The 2024/25 FC Barcelona men’s and women’s kits are made with Dri-FIT ADV, Nike’s highest standard for technical products. Thanks to research conducted by the Nike Sports Research Lab (NSRL) and data collected through advanced body mapping technology, this season’s kits provide mobility, breathability and ventilation exactly where they are needed most.
The technical innovations presented set new standards for maximum performance. Each element of the kit has been improved using 4D and computational design methods.
Nike’s design team has updated the color direction using what they call a “meta-prismatic” approach. The new cooler skin takes traditional colors and incorporates light and movement to uniquely expand the color palette while maintaining the Club’s aesthetic identity.
Men’s, women’s and children’s kits will be available from July 18 this year in BARÇA STORES stores and the club’s official e-commerce site, as well as in Nike Stores and Nike.com.
