The Levante UD joins the retro trend in its second form, paying homage to the UDLG | Lift You Up

Especially for a football team like Levante UD, which harmonizes both of these things, as well as respect for the environment and sustainability, in each of its textile proposals, which it develops with Macron. This is the new Levante UD second kit for the season that is about to begin: a shirt that follows the retro trend that exists right now and pays homage to its history.

The events date back to the summer of 1939. The news, which the contemporary press called an “information bomb”, dated the first days of August 1939, shook Valencian football. Levante and Gimnástica, two clubs with different philosophies and imaginations, have joined forces.. Thus was born the Levante Gymnastics Sports Union, dressed in a red and white shirt.

Because of the colour of this uniform, the Levante-Gymnastica Athletic Union began to recognise Team Kachirulo. The colours were kept as long as the name UDLG was kept, that is, in the seasons 1939/1940 and 1940/1941. With the transfer to Levante, the colours of Gimnástica returned to the colours of Barça.
