The exponent of urban music, Miky Woodz, whose real name is Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Rivera, was selected today Thursday by the Piratas de Quebradillas in round number 7 of the second round to formalize his entry into the National Superior Basketball.
The new manager of the Pirates, Rafael ‘Pachy’ Cruz, said that Woodz is a “managerial” selection and that he will be seeing how long the musician will be available to put on the buccaneer colors and play on the BSN courts.
“There are many things, many managerial aspects because he is a very attractive person for the fans, and he has played all the leagues, and with the make-up that the team has now we take that risk of giving Miky Woodz the opportunity,” he said. Cross.
At the same time, Cruz said that the Pirates are helping Miky Woodz achieve a dream of seeing action on the sports scene at the highest level in Puerto Rico.
“We know that he is very committed to his profession and we respect that. In the same way, he submitted his name to the lottery, which is something he always wanted to do. I hope we can get in touch with him as soon as possible to see how we can make it all work,” he said.
Rodríguez Rivera, who has spent years playing with the Carolina Giants of the Puerto Rican Basketball League and who has demonstrated his talent in the reggaeton games that the BSN has presented simultaneously to its All-Star Games, submitted his name to the raffle this days to launch his new production.
