The results are ready! Cillian Murphy won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama

First of all, it was Will Smith For King Richard. Then it was Austin Butler For Elvis. And the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has just awarded a new winner.

Entertainment’s biggest stars gathered today for the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards. During the ceremony, Cillian Murphy won the award for Best Actor in a Drama Film Oppenheimer.

He was nominated along with Bradley Cooper For Teacher, Leonardo DiCaprio For Killers of the Flower MoonColman Domingo for RustinBarry Keoghan for Saltburn and Andrew Scott for We are all strangers.

The Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama has existed since the 40s, although it was originally combined with the Comedy and Musical categories. Al Pacino currently holds the record for the most nominations in this category, with ten in total. He is followed by DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson and Denzel Washington, who each have eight nominations.
