Movistar has increased the prices of some Movistar Plus+ packages and these new rates are effective from Monday 13 May 2024. This increase will affect both miMovistar customers and Movistar Fusion tariff users.

In particular, the Movistar Plus+ Motor and Deportes Total packages increase their rate by 5 euros, increasing Motor from 10 to 15 euros per month and Deportes Total from 19 to 24 euros per month. In addition, the price of six Movistar Fusion plans is also increasing by 5 euros per month.

Other users with sports packages other than those mentioned or users with the basic Movistar Plus+ tariff will not be affected by this increase. According to the operator responsible, Telefónica, the increase is due to rising costs in the sector and the need to maintain the quality of its content. However, those users who do not want to continue using Movistar after this increase will have the opportunity to cancel their subscription, since their tariffs do not require continuity.
