This dangerous Trojan infiltrates your Android mobile and steals all your banking data: here’s how to avoid it

The malware uses a technique called overlay, where a fake screen is placed on top of a specific APK or app and captures all your data as you enter it, as well as security keys from your phone.

Immediately after this, the Trojan was given free rein to take control of your mobile phone and collect all your movements in order to then send them to the command and control servers of cybercriminals. From now on, all applications on your mobile phone become vulnerable and criminals will collect all your information remotely.

What to do to avoid this Trojan

To identify these types of cyber threats, try bypass any updates from Google Chrome browser using your Android mobile phone. In this case, application updates, as well as software and security updates, will always be carried out in your smartphone menu or in the Play Store, and not through third parties.

In case you want download APK or external update, take the necessary precautions. Make sure that the website where you are going to download the said application is safe and secure and if you have any suspicion, immediately close that web portal to prevent viruses from entering your device.
