TikTokers Team Up to Make Chocolate Covered Strawberries Most Popular TikTok Videos

Alice Sjoberg

A video of a bowl of chocolate-covered strawberries has gone mega-viral on TikTok, racking up millions of likes and views. TikTok users are now trying to make this the most popular video on the platform.

Video sharing app TikTok has exploded in popularity since its launch in 2017, with millions of users flocking to the platform to take part in the latest trends sweeping the internet.

For years, Bella Poarch’s video of her lip-syncing to Millie B’s “M to the B” has been the most popular video on TikTok, with over 63.5 million likes since it was posted in 2020.

However, will 2024 be the year it drops to second place? TikTokers around the world seem to think so as they race to make a video of chocolate covered strawberries, TikTok’s most popular video.

The video, posted by TikTok user pr4yforgabs, gained significant attention after posting a video consisting of a 15-second clip of a bowl of chocolate-covered strawberries zooming to the music of Bobby Caldwell’s 1978 hit “What Won’t You Do for Love.”

Despite the seemingly light-hearted video, it has been viewed more than 358.6 million times on TikTok and also received more than 44.3 million likes, making it the sixth most popular video on the platform just a month after it was posted.

Thanks to the amazing success of the video, TikTok users around the world are banding together to try to make it the most popular video on TikTok and knock Bella Poarch off the top spot.

Many people on TikTok are advocating for strawberries to beat Poarch’s video, and they have also been supported by top TikTok creators like Noah Glenn Carter.

People also read comments on the strawberry video to help it attract more viewers. It received over 649,000 comments, with the majority saying they wanted to like it more than Bella Poarch’s video.

One person tried to get more attention by writing: “B00ST so this is better than Bella Poarch! What’s your favorite drink? while other users simply added the video’s current stats and how many likes it had gotten on a given day and compared it to Bella Poarch’s video in the comments to boost engagement.

However, not all users cannot come to terms with the popularity of videos. One person said: “Why did you get 14.4 million likes on CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY?????”

“19.7 million likes for strawberry chocolate is crazy,” a second person commented on February 17.
