Trailer for a musical film with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo

A new cast has been announced for Wicked, an adaptation of the Broadway musical comedy starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.

Universal Pictures released a new release of the film this week. Wicked, a film adaptation of the Broadway musical comedy based on The Wizard of Oz. The film, which is a portrayal of two talented actresses and singers, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.

The group announcement of young expelled Elphaba (Erivo) and folk girl Glinda (Grande) arriving at Shiz University immediately offended. There couldn’t be any more rivals to separate the car from director Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh), and there was no time for designers to be colocaters.

I based it on the 2003 Broadway musical comedy (based on the novel by Gregory Maguire). Wicked Telling the story of the Wizards of Oz, focusing on a character who has no capacity for magic or friendship, can transform us.

The film suits Elphaba à la peau verte, the future Fairy Witch of the West, and Glinda, the future Fair Witch of the North. In the Meet the Wizard of Oz suite, friendship is a mystery in anticipation, and adventures vie with all sorts of people. Glinda’s desire for overwhelming popularity has led her to decide that Elphaba will remain faithful to her mother, and all that surrounds the aura of the consequences of inattention and crazy people on the way to her. The Extraordinary Adventures of Oz-Le-Verron has finally fulfilled its destiny as Glinda, the wizard and villain, the Wizard of the West.

The film also stars Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, royal headmaster of Shiz University; Jonathan Bailey (English)Bridgerton, fellow travelers) as Fiyero, the spy and carefree prince; Tony Award-nominated Ethan Slater (Broadway SpongeBob Squarepants, Fosse/Verdon), as Bok, Munchkin’s altruistic student; Marissa Bode, making her film debut, plays Nessarose, Elphaba’s beloved sister; and pop culture icon Jeff Goldblum as the legendary Wizard of Oz.

The casting also includes Pfanny and ShenShen, two of Glinda’s accomplices played by Bowen Yang (saturday night life) and Bronwyn James (Prostitutes), all two names at the Emmy Awards, as well as a new character created for the film, Miss Coddle, played by Keela Settle (The Greatest Showman), nominated for a Tony Award.

Made by renowned director Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians at their best), Wicked This is the first chapter of the story at two parties.

Premiere part Wicked It will be in theaters on November 27, 2024, the next part will arrive in cinema halls on November 26, 2025.
