Unlife; platformer Survival Horror will be released on consoles

Independent publisher Ratalaika Games and individual developer Diedermor Studio are pleased to announce their next release. Unlife. It will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch on March 1, 2024.

It’s a dark and apocalyptic experience set in a world destroyed by nuclear war, where instead of land there is only the Black Ocean and its dangerous inhabitants exist!

Unlife It may seem like a simple 2D platformer where you have to overcome various obstacles: swim underwater, search for weapons and supplies, destroy ruthless monsters, but it is much more.

The hero will have to move between platforms on a large submarine from the Second World War, and he will also have the opportunity to personally control a smaller submarine.

By collecting different types of garbage, you will be able to create workbench items necessary for survival. The genetic material of slain creatures can help cure the hero of an illness that will affect the end of the game.

I love this game for its atmosphere, unique world and setting. I was able to create a wonderful soundtrack that emphasized the character’s loneliness in this dark adventure. I am proud to have successfully completed this complex project, which is one of the most challenging. They are still there for me.

The player’s first task will be to get to the old submarine located on the sea platform where the character wakes up. The player will have to explore several ocean stations, some of which are flooded.

Visit an abandoned ship, navigate an underground metro inhabited by numerous nightmarish creatures. The player will have to face various terrible creatures resembling spiders, mutant humans, a colossal kraken and a terrifying monster from the depths of the Black Sea.

The monsters are quite dangerous and their attacks cause significant damage to the character, so acting quickly will be important. After defeating the monster, the character receives DNA, from which he creates a cure for the parasite.

Story about Unlife It is linear, but there are two possible endings depending on whether the player can cure their character of the parasite living inside them. This is a dark and terrifying experience – a post-apocalyptic challenge that cannot be ignored!
