Volkswagen launches the most desirable package for the Multivan

Volkswagen wants to make its successful Multivan people carrier more versatile, with complete equipment designed for the most adventurous users and those who love outdoor recreation in the company of friends or a partner. An easy and simple way to bring this variant of the popular Bulli closer to the California model that all campervan enthusiasts desire.

WITH “Good night” package, users will no longer have to worry about finding somewhere to stay overnight, and the van itself will be the perfect place to spend the night watching the stars. This is possible thanks to a folding bed consisting of a base and a mattress 2.02 meters long and 1.21 wide.

, with the latter resting on supports attached to the hull rather than on the seats, which can even be removed to create important storage space for all types of items, including surfboards. When folded, the bed can be placed behind the second-row seats, or the third-row seats can be folded down to place it on top.

This package also includes some curtains designed to stop light and thus guarantee greater privacy. The German firm says they can be easily placed on front, rear and side windows thanks to built-in magnets or plastic latches, and can also be stored in special pockets. In addition, if the van is equipped with the optional panoramic roof, it is possible to darken the windows with another curtain, while ventilation modules The front windows are responsible for providing enough fresh air at night and thus preventing the windows from fogging up from the inside.

All this equipment is included in the basic version of the above-mentioned package, which costs €2,867 in Germany, but can be supplemented with a more complete alternative including camp table and two folding chairs. The price of this option is 3355 euros. Volkswagen notes that the Good Night package can be combined with all available trim levels and seating options. Now all that remains to be seen is whether it will also be offered in Spain.
