Group C
In the 33rd minute, Manuela Giuliano took advantage of a mistake by the German defense, intercepted the ball and assisted Valentina Giacinti, who headed past Marie-Louise Gros from inside the penalty area. With the advantage on the scoreboard, Bayern stepped up their game while Roma waited for their chance to counterattack.
However, the German team found their reward towards the end when Lea Schuller struck home Pernille Harder. But there was still time for madness in the discount. Giuliano scored in the 93rd minute to make it 2-1 against local Brad. And three minutes later, Schuller – also with a header – completed his brace to avoid defeat for the visitors and silence the Italian fans. Both teams will play everything on the last day.
Paris needed seven minutes to open the scoring when Marie Antoinette Catoto scored from Sandy Baltimore’s cross with an acrobatic strike. The goal did nothing to diminish the ambition of the match against a struggling Ajax side, but they went down 2-0 in the 25th minute, again the work of Katoto as she beat Regina Van Eyck one-on-one.
After half an hour of play, Rome Leuchter intercepted the ball almost in the center of the field and, after excellent individual play on the left flank, scored with a magnificent strike from outside the penalty area. The goal did not undermine the morale of the French and before the break, Grace Geyoro, after deflecting the visitors’ goal, made the score 3-1. This goal was almost final as the French team dedicated themselves to running out minutes in the second half, securing a victory that put them in the lead.

Group D
Chelsea dominated at Stamford Bridge and Mylène Chavas, Madrid’s starting goalkeeper in the match, became a wall for the Blues players in the opening moments. As the minutes passed, Madrid sighed and began to stretch, with Colombian Linda Caicedo going close to scoring in the 28th minute. Hannah Hampton providentially prevented the visitors from scoring.
Chelsea tried to make a second breakthrough before the break, but the white team remained standing. Already in the second half, Fran Kirby’s header, which went wide of the goal, was the prelude to the score 1:0, the work of Guro Reiten, who converted a penalty in the 63rd minute. Against all odds, Madrid rose and Atenea del Castillo managed to equalize before Chavas scored 2-1 into her own net, securing the English side’s place in the quarter-finals.
The Swedes were able to convert their initial lead into a goal in the 21st minute thanks to a penalty from Rosa Kafaji. However, the penalty was saved by goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie. Twelve minutes later, Monica Yusu Ba collided with Nnadozie in a quick run, but her shot hit the left post.
In the 61st minute, Gaetane Tini’s shot from outside the penalty area forced Hecken goalkeeper Jennifer Falk to make an excellent save. The match continued to be closely fought and the Swedes came close to winning with a double chance in stoppage time. Nnadozi was unstoppable against Kafaji and Ruby Grant with two stunning saves. Now, after this draw, the two teams will have to wait until the sixth round to compete for passage to the quarterfinals.
