The first ATP Tour event of the season in Europe took place at the Open Sud de France – Montpellier, where Alexander Bublik won the trophy on the French indoor hard court. ATPTour.com takes a look at the most notable changes to the Pepperstone ATP Rankings leading up to this Monday, February 5th.
No. 23 Alexander Bublik, +4 (Best rating)
At 26, he climbed to No. 23 in the Pepperstone ATP rankings after winning his fourth title in Montpellier. Bublik won his four matches in the third set after losing the first set at an ATP 250 event. This is the second time he has won the title in Montpellier (2022, 2024).
No. 28 Felix Auger-Aliassime, +2
The Canadian moved up two places to reach his third semi-final of the year in Montpellier. Auger-Aliassime, 23 and with five titles under his belt, is aiming to continue his good form on the indoor hard court in Marseille this week.
No. 31 Terminal Korich, +6
The Croatian moved up six places after reaching his first final since 2022, where he won his first ATP Masters 1000 crown in Cincinnati. Coric defeated Pedro Martinez, Flavio Cobolli and Holger Rune in Montpellier.
