This Saturday the MIR 2023 exam took place, the annual test convened by the Ministry of Health to access one of the 8,550 places this year for doctors. In addition to Medicine, the places offered in Specialized Health Training (FSE) are for Pharmacy, Nursing and degrees in the field of Psychology, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
The results of the tests held on the afternoon of January 21 in 28 locations in the country will be announced in the coming weeks, but in the hours after the exam, the teachers of the different academies already offer an estimate of the results that can be consulted. on their respective platforms.
27,796 applicants apply for 11,171 places in Specialized Health Training
It is not until after five business days, on January 27, when Health publishes the correct answers from the MIR Qualifying Commission on its website.
A month later, at the end of February, is when the provisional results of future health workers will be published after being evaluated. A period of three days is then opened for any claim from the resident doctors and the rest of the students.

For the final results of the MIR 2023 we will have to wait until April. At the end of that month, the acts will be called to award the 8,550 places in Medicine. Of these, 234 are for privately owned centres, 599 for people with disabilities and 513 for people who do not hold a permit to reside in Spain.
In addition to the places in Medicine, the rest of the health specialties distribute their places as follows: 1,961 for Nursing, 308 for Pharmacy, 231 for Psychology, 19 for Chemistry, 60 for Biology and 42 for Physics. In total there are 27,796 applicants.
