There are usually summer discounts. the most anticipated thing of the year. With them begins the season of searching for the best clothes and accessories for the summer season and the opportunity to purchase autumn-winter products at a better price.

Previously, the period of summer sales in stores was limited to the period from July 1 to the end of August. However, in 2012 Government released campaigns

allowing each company or store to choose specific dates on which to hang their posters with attractive discounts.

This stage is also critical for business due to increase in sales and the ability to manage stock of items. In this year’s winter sales, Spaniards spent an average of 345 euros, up 25% compared to 2023, according to data published by the Cetelem Observatory.

Major clothing brands begin summer sales in mid-June, between the 12th and 22nd; or early July. Since companies usually don’t announce the start date of this campaign well in advance, we have to look back and see what strategy they followed last year.

  • Index: The Inditex group (Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Oysho…) can start their discounts on June 22 in physical stores, and the day before they will begin, as always, online and in the app.
  • Mango: is one of the brands that is starting this period. Starting June 20th, it’s likely that we’ll start seeing some items from their stores go on sale.
  • Tendam Group (Women’s Secret, Cortefiel, Springfield, Pedro del Hierro): there are already discounts on the website from June 5, and from June 6 in the store they will last until August 31.
  • H&M: eLast year, sales began with exclusive access for members on June 20 and 21 on the app. In 2024 they may also start around the 19th and 20th for “VIP” customers.

Each Autonomous Community shall establish another datealthough most often limited to August 31st or September 1st.
