Would you pay up to €95 for a premium character? That’s the micropayments of The First Descendant, the hot new sci-fi shooter on Steam – The First Descendant.

This week, Korean giant Nexon launched its new mmo marauder shooter Free: The First Descendant, a game clearly meant to compete with the likes of Warframe or (to a lesser extent) Destiny. As usual in Asian MMOmonetization is a big part of the experience, and in this particular case, Valve’s community reviews reflect the controversy on the issue: is TFD a game that insults your wallet?
