Carlos Alcaraz (World No. 2) continues his strong run at the 2024 Australian Open.. In round 16 of this episode, The Spanish tennis player defeated Miomir Kecmanovic (ranked 60th) with a score of 6-4, 6-4 and 6-0.in one hour and 48 minutes of play, and was among the top eight players in the competition.
This victory allowed Carlitos to break the drought he faced in the early years of his ATP career. TOI have reached quarter finals in Melbourne for the first time and at the age of 20 he has already reached this stage in all Grand Slam tournaments. Kecmanovic had nothing special to do in the fight with Alcaraz. The former world number one played at an excellent level and quickly got rid of the Serbian. without even giving him the opportunity to interrupt the service. Carlitos, for his part, broke it five times.
