All of Sydney Sweeney’s upcoming films coming out in 2024 and beyond
Sydney Sweeney has starred in two different films in just the first three months of 2024, and has plenty of film and television appearances to look forward to throughout this year and beyond.
Just after leaving Anyone but you In 2023, Sweeney played Julia Cornwall in Madame Web, which premiered in February. Then, at the end of March, she starred in a new horror film. Irreproachable.
On television, Sweeney has played notable roles in shows such as Euphoria, White LotusAnd The Handmaid’s Taleamong many other entries.

Sydney Sweeney has several confirmed projects on the horizon, giving her fans a lot to look forward to.
Eden
Sweeney to star in Ron Howard’s upcoming thriller Edenwhich is currently in post-production.
The film, based on a true story, follows a group of people who left their normal lives behind and chose to live in the Galapagos Islands. Besides Sweeney, Eden Starring Vanessa Kirby, Ana de Armas and Jude Law.
She told Josh Horowitz during the Happy Sad Confused podcast that Edenshe was in the cast “Pinches (himself) all the time.” She admitted that she “I can’t say much about it” but she’s playing “A completely different character than (she’s) ever played:”
“I came back to Australia and I got to work with (Ron Howard), Jude Law, Ana de Armas, Daniel Brühl and Vanessa Kirby – such an amazing cast, I kept pinching myself. I can’t say anything special about it. It’s based on a true story, it’s crazy. But this is a completely different character than I’ve ever played. ? It is her?'”
Eden currently has no known release date.
Echo Valley
Directed by Michael Pearce Echo Valley is another thriller starring Sweeney, which is currently in post-production. She will share the screen with actors such as Julianne Moore and Domhnall Gleeson.
Sweeney will play Claire – the daughter of Moore’s Kate Garrett – in the film, which will be distributed on Apple TV+ at an as-yet-unknown date, expected in 2024.
Barbarella
Very little is known about the remake of the 1968 film. Barbarella in addition, Sweeney will play the main role in it.
In the original film, Barbarella is an astronaut from the 41st century. The film centers on her quest to stop the evil scientist Durand-Duran and his threat to the galaxy.
In October 2022 (as per Deadline), Sweeney was confirmed to star in Sony’s remake, and she posted a photo of Barbarella on Instagram with the caption. “time to save the universe.”
In “Happy Sad Confused”, Sweeney confirmed that she was still working on the film. She praised the original film, calling it “so good” And “so mannered.”
Sweeney talked about how Barbarella “embraces her femininity and sexuality” And “You use sex as a weapon” making it “such a fun character to explore.” She added that she has “I’ve always wanted to do science fiction” And Barbarella Be sure to check this checkbox:

Although she has remained technically silent, Sweeney did tease the possibility of Edgar Wright directing the remake, pointedly not answering some questions about it.
Euphoria season 3
Although Deadline noted that filming for EuphoriaWhile the third season has been delayed, Sweeney (who plays Cassie Howard on the series) confirmed to Horowitz earlier in March that she intends to return when new episodes eventually air.
In “Happy Sad Confused”, Sweeney told Horowitz that talking about Euphoria es “as scary as talking about Marvel” but it’s her “excited” return to the show.
She said that “Cassie really wants to act” and that she “so lucky” be able to play “a character like her at such a young age:”
Sweeney: “(Talking about Euphoria) is as scary as talking about Marvel, guys. I said one thing and then it went everywhere.”
Horowitz: “Okay, fair enough. Well, we’re excited.”
Sweeney: “I’m delighted too. I love Cassie. Like, playing Cassie is truly a dream come true, and as an actor, I’m so lucky to have a character like her at such a young age. Of course, I want to continue living with her like crazy, I like it.
Until the release of these projects and everything else Sweeney becomes part of moving forward, fans will be able to see her in Irreproachablewhich is now playing in cinemas.
