In March, WhatsApp is going through the biggest change in its history with numerous new features. One of the most important is that will allow users to read and send messages to other platformsas is the case with Telegram, iMessage or Signal, without leaving the application.

This new product will continue to support end-to-end encryption. This is a security method that protects messages so that no one can read encrypted messages while they are being transmitted from your phone to the mobile phone you are sending the message to.

Another change is that it will allow search messages by date in chats. The functionality is implemented in the iOS version of WhatsApp and is implemented in the Android application. It’s also included on Mac and WhatsApp Web, but in that case you can only go back for six months.

“New” WhatsApp will block the creation of screenshots of profile photos and will display a notification that the action is blocked and that “a screenshot cannot be taken due to application restrictions.”
